Accessibility statement
Last updated: October 26, 2026.
I want everyone to be able to read and use shaunpatrickstewart.com, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, zoom, or high-contrast settings. To reach any page without the menu, use the site map, a plain list of every page.
The standard this site aims for
The site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
How the site is tested
- On every change. Before a change goes live, an automated check (axe-core, with the WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 A and AA rules and the WCAG 2.2 AA rules) runs on every page in both the light and dark color schemes. A failure stops the change.
- Lighthouse. In an outside audit on October 26, 2026, Google Lighthouse scored the accessibility of all eight page templates 100 out of 100 on a phone.
- Motion and color. Animation is reduced when your device asks for reduced motion, and the site follows your device’s light or dark setting.
Automated checks cannot find every problem. Testing by hand with screen readers has not been done for every page yet.
